Tell me what you want, what you REALLY REALLY want

Take a couple minutes to write down 1 Desire that has been occupying your heart and thoughts lately.

Be honest. REALLY honest. What is it that you REALLY WANT?

Now ask yourself this Question: Will this Desire lead me closer to or further from God?

Take that desire, whatever it is, to God in prayer right now in this moment.

Operation Transformation Week Two - My Story.

Writing My Story

This past weekend we looked at how important our stories are to our transformation. When it comes to our stories, they are either going to be Redeemed by God or Repeated by us.

So we created a process that can help you write out your story and begin this week to invite God into to it to redeem it.  You can download it HERE

This is good, hard work that is worth you setting and hour or two aside this week.

Remember, when your story is Redeemed, God’s Glory is Revealed!

24 Hours of Renewing Your Mind

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

- Psalm 139: 23 -24

  1. What are the 3 biggest thoughts occupying your mind right now? They may be things you’re worried about, anxious over, occupied with. Be specific.  NOW - Write them down somewhere that you can keep them.
  2. Take 5 minutes to bring each of those thoughts to God in prayer. Tell him what is occupying your mind.
  3. Before you go to bed, pray through each of them one more time. Ask God for his Truth from his word and from his heart.
  4. Now set an alarm on your phone or your computer to go off exactly 24 hours from now.  When the alarm goes off tomorrow, reflect on how God has encouraged, transformed, renewed, and even changed your mind about those things.

Operation Transformation Week One - My Beliefs

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –
his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2 (TNIV)
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind controlled by the sinful nature is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.
Romans 8:5-6 (TNIV)
